-Public rights of the Turkish citizen 

Public rights are rights that are not related to a specific area in the life of the Turkish citizen, but are related to his life and public issues. These rights include: 

*The right to live a decent life on the territory of the state of Turkey, that is, to live a life respected by others, and this life will be peaceful, away from racism and other problems and wars, and characterized by peace, respect, safety and tranquility that any citizen in any country is looking for. 

*Freedom in all aspects of life, such as freedom of opinion and freedom of decision, freedom of life so that the Turkish citizen can choose all decisions in his life personally, especially in decisions that affect his personal and intellectual life such as religious belief, political belief, party thought and many other personal matters and not be influenced by external pressures from the government or the rest of the Turkish citizens.

*Living in peace, it is also the right of the Turkish citizen to live in a peaceful country away from wars, problems, pressures and famines, especially after the wars waged by most countries that greatly affect the citizens of those countries and the peace in them and the ability to live in these countries. 

*The possibility of enjoying free services in Turkey, and this is through the services provided by the free educational and health centers that all Turkish citizens enjoy without exception, in addition to benefiting from other free centers such as entertaining centers and public parks that open their doors to all Turkish citizens throughout the year. 

* Not to expose the Turkish citizen to the restriction of freedom, because the Turkish state prevents restricting freedoms except in very special cases, and the Turkish state also prevents the arrest of any Turkish citizen without informing him of the reason for the arrest, and this is one of the most important rights enjoyed by the Turks, and this is what makes him take correct measures before it is too late and prepares him well for what is to come. 

 

Civil rights of Turkish citizens: 

Civil rights are those rights that relate to the civil status of a Turkish citizen. Civil status is what highlights the personal and public information of any citizen in Turkey. 

Civil rights are summarized by several items as follows: 

*One of the first rights that a Turkish citizen must obtain is the right to get personal documents necessary to complete his life in the territory of Turkey. These documents are 

-ID card 

-passport 

- The family card 

-Vehicle or car driving certificate

These certificates are considered among the first documents that a Turkish citizen must have, who is entitled to extract a lost allowance in case he lost one of these previous documents, which is something that happens naturally or normally, and he must obtain a replacement for it in the event of its loss, loss or damage.

*Granting Turkish citizenship to a foreign spouse, that is, a non-Turkish spouse, as well as to children from a foreign mother.

 

-Political rights of Turkish citizens:

The political rights of the Turkish citizen are related to the concept of the citizen himself. The citizen must be active in his society through political activity. These political rights are: 

*The right to express opinion and community participation through events run by some parties in Turkey.

*The right to guarantee the political belief of the Turkish citizen without deterrence or intimidation. 

*The right to freely establish political parties, but on condition that they be licensed in the centers designated for the establishment of parties.

*The right to avoid abusive actions for Turkish citizens by avoiding the authorities that torture citizens or strip them of their rights.

 

Economic rights of Turkish citizens:

The economic field is the most important field in which the Turkish citizen relates and lives in his daily life, so he is very keen to obtain all his economic rights, and the state of Turkey is strengthening these rights for Turkish citizens so that they can enjoy them well and affect the Turkish economy in all its aspects. Turkish citizen enjoys:

*The right to receive adequate and suitable wages to live in the territory of Turkey for employees and workers in the field and the economic sector or other public and private sectors.

*The right to make the value of manufacturers or owners of large industries a great value and to set appropriate prices for them and their industrial and economic value.

*Paying attention to livestock and agricultural wealth, by providing appropriate wages for workers in the agricultural field as well as in the field of livestock.

*Take the necessary measures in order to provide job opportunities in all sectors and organize this by linking them on the internet with each business sector needs a certain number of employees because the state is responsible for that and for organizing job opportunities and vacancies that are available in any sector of the work and this contributes to raising the standard of living and the economic situation in Turkey in general.

*Forming professional unions for workers, and this is a right for all Turkish citizens who work in certain sectors, and it guarantees them their rights and wages.

*Obtaining health insurance and social security, and this allows the Turkish citizen to guarantee his right in case he is exposed to health problems or diseases due to work.

*Providing job opportunities is not enough. It is also the right of Turkish citizens to set wages not less than the minimum wage in Turkey.

*The Turkish citizen has the right to practice any type of investment within the territory of Turkey, the most important of which is real estate investment. He can buy any type of real estate with certain facilities without any restrictions and any conditions, and he can register this property very easily after paying the taxes on this property.

*It is also a right that the Turkish state compensates Turkish citizens affected by some natural disasters, and the compensation is either material or by rebuilding what was demolished.

Religious rights of Turkish citizens:

The Turkish citizen enjoys religious rights that enable him to practice the religious rites to which he belongs without being forced into a particular religion. Religion in Turkey is voluntary and it is one of the characteristics of civilized countries that fulfill all the rights of the citizen, but it is required that this religious group to which he belongs is not banned globally and does not affect the security and peace in the State of Turkey.

 

Duties of a Turkish citizen:

Just as the Turkish citizen has rights enjoyed from the Turkish government, he also has duties that must be performed towards the state of Turkey. These duties that he must perform are:

 

Pay taxes and fees:

Any Turkish citizen must pay the taxes incurred by him in any field in which he was working or was doing, such as if he made a commercial, economic or real estate investment, even if he purchased a certain property, he must pay taxes, as well as if he owns a company or a factory or commercial stores must also pay the taxes resulting from its facilities. This is a duty on Turkish citizens for the Turkish state, as well as some fees resulting from some operations in government departments or government facilities.

 

Homeland service:

Every adult male Turkish citizen must do the military service and defend the Turkish homeland for those under the age of 38, while the one who is over 38 and has not performed the military service must pay a service allowance and be exempted from service as well as those with diseases that prevent them from properly serving. Likewise, the one who is considered the only one in his family and does not have brothers to represent him at home. Those who hold Turkish citizenship are also exempted from military service, according to an agreement between the two countries on this matter.

Preserving these facilities and public property is a duty because they are not personal property but are public property of all citizens and that preserving them means preserving the community and the property of the community that serves all Turkish citizens residing on the territory of the State of Turkey.
